Challenge the Iconic Peak of the Northern Alps – 3-Day Trek to Mt.Yariga-take from Kamikochi.
Embark on a dream adventure to one of Japan’s most iconic peaks—Mt. Yariga-take, known as “the spear of the Northern Alps.” This 3-day journey begins in Kamikochi, a pristine mountain valley renowned for its crystal-clear Azusa River.
On Day 1, we follow the gentle river trail through tranquil forests to Yokoo, where the landscape gradually transforms into a true alpine environment. The peaceful hike continues to Yarisawa Lodge, nestled in the trees.
On Day 2, we ascend beyond the tree line and enter a dramatic, high-altitude world. The final push to the summit involves climbing ladders and chains along a rocky ridge—a thrilling ascent to 3,180 meters. At the top, you’ll be rewarded with an unforgettable 360-degree panorama of the Northern Alps. It's a view that only those who’ve earned it can truly appreciate.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take each step with purpose, moving from the calm beauty of Kamikochi to the soaring summit of Mt. Yariga-take. Are you ready for the ultimate alpine experience?
