One of the largest wasabi farms in Japan is located in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture. The farm has been cultivating high-quality wasabi for over 100 years in an environment blessed by the clear, melted snow water from the Northern Alps. The vast site is filled with beautiful wasabi fields, a water mill that was featured in Akira Kurosawa's film "Dreams," and a museum where visitors can learn about the history of the wasabi farm.
