Tour information
The panoramic Ginza area of the Northern Alps overlooking the Hida side of the mountain with views of Mt. Yariga-take and Mt. Hotaka-dake and the Shinshu side with views of the Azumino countryside. The average walking time per day is about 4 to 5 hours. Each night we will stay at a different lodge to enjoy the great outdoors and the leisurely pace of the day.
This tour is limited to a small number of people. If there are more than 7 people who wish to join the tour, we may be able to provide a 2-person guide system, so please consult with us in advance.

Tour Details
Enzanso Hut at Sunrise
Enzanso is a mountain lodge that has been in business for over 100 years, located right in front of Mt.Tsubakuro-dake, a peak with a spectacular view of the Northern Alps. The warm hospitality and the magnificent ridge line of the Northern Alps spreading out before you attract hikers.
Daitenso
Daitenso is a mountain lodge that stands on the ridge line of the Panorama Ginza in the Northern Alps, just below Mt. Otearai-dake in the Northern Alps. To the east, you can look down on the Azumino countryside below. After dinner, you can order delicious drinks and desserts in the dining room by the light of a lamp, and enjoy a quiet time of conversation.
Johnen hut
Jōnen Hut is a historic mountain hut that stands on the saddle between Mt.Yokotooshi-dake and Mt.Jōnen-dake. In the morning, you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the Azumino side and the reddish glow of the morning sunrise on the Jōnen-dake peak, and in the evening, you can enjoy the sunset on the Mt.Yariga-take side through the Jōnen hut.
Chogatake Hutte
Chōgatake Hutte is a mountain lodge located directly below Mt.Choga-take. After a long day of hiking along the ridge, you can spend a relaxing time in the warmth of the hut. From the hut, you can see the Hotaka mountain range directly in front of you. You will be overwhelmed by the powerful mountain formations.

Cancellation Charges
Cancellation Date and Cancellation Fee
1. Cancellation 11 days prior to the start of the tour: Free of charge
2. Cancellation 10 days prior to the start of the tour (excluding 3~6): 20% of the tour fee
3. Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the start of the tour (excluding 4~6): 30% of the tour fee
4. Cancellation on the day before the start of the tour: 40% of the tour fee
5. Cancellation on the day of the tour (except for item 6): 50% of the tour fee
6. Cancellation after the start of the tour and no-show: 100% of the tour fee
Precautions and Conditions of Participation
Tour content is subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions.
There will be ups and downs with an elevation gain of approximately 1,200 meters on the first and last day. Participants must be able to climb the mountain for about 6 hours per day with their own luggage on their backs.
Access / Map
It takes about 30 minutes from Matsumoto Station by JR Oito Line. From the train window, you can enjoy the Northern Alps and Japanese countryside scenery.
