Go along Lake Hatanagi from the Hatanagi Daiichi Dam and split on the way to the Sawara-jima area at the Hatanagi Large Suspension Bridge, enter the mountain trail to Mt. Chausu-dake, and here you will find the first mountain hut.

It is operated unmanned, and comes with food ingredients, self-cooking equipment, and bedding must be brought, and one has the impression that the long standing tent has become a building.

The southern part of the Southern Alps, where the hut is located, has deep mountains and long steps, so accidents are likely to occur. This hut is a friendly ally when doing that.
