It is a hut built in the Tokugo Pass along the way from Shima-shima valley which was the main route to Kamikochi.
It has been in business since 1923, along the path that people like Walter Weston, Kotaro Takamura(a famous poet), Ryunosuke Akutagawa(a famous novelist) and others have crossed.
We repaired the bedroom part since opening in 2010 , dismantling the living room and the kitchen part, the wooden two-floors new building was newly built, and we can spend more comfortably.
