Yama no Tabisha Gosenshaku Lodge, located along the Azusa River near the symbolic Kappa-bashi Bridge in Kamikochi, has changed its name from the 2019 (Heisei 31) season.
The interior has been renewed as part of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Gosenshaku. It has been reborn as a natural space with abundant use of wood.
The rooms are basically 8-mat Japanese-style rooms, and the lobby is popular for its homelike atmosphere with daily slide shows.
