It is a mountain hut-like inn in a corner of a quiet plateau which can be reached in about 10 minutes, close to Yashima swamp.
A large number of guests gather here as a departure point to the Kiri-gamine and Mt. Kuruma-yama walks, Wada Pass in the old Nakasendo, and the Hoshi-gato Obsidian, linked with historical romance.
