It is the first mountain hut that one encounters on the mountain trail from Yasha-jin Pass to Houo-Three Mountains.
Being on the mountain ridge and being blessed with water is also a major feature, and literally there is a reputation for the taste of rice cooked with natural water in the Southern Alps.
