Introduction to Mountain Huts

Take a shuttle bus from Norikura plateau, and it is a mountain hut on the way to Tatami-daira which serves as a base to the Norikura Mountains.

It is also open for skiers, and is scheduled to start from the second Saturday of February, but mountain climbing in the early spring requires special attention.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Mt. Norikura-dake is the easiest mountain to climb in the 3,000 m class, but there is a significant amount of snowfall at high places, and if it rains thereafter, the entire area is crusted (like a skating rink) . Slip accidents occur frequently and the risk of avalanches also increases, so it is dangerous to enter during this season if you are underage.
