The prices listed above include a handling fee equivalent to 30% of the accommodation cost, which is charged in advance by credit card.
This fee covers reservation arrangements and English-language communication on your behalf.
Please note that the handling fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
As a result, the total amount shown above is higher than the price for direct reservations made with the mountain huts.
Thank you for your understanding.

Cancellation Policy for Safety and Consideration of Others
To prevent accidents, we do not charge cancellation fees in cases of bad weather or health issues—as long as you notify us in advance. Please be sure to contact us by the day before your stay.
Out of respect for other guests, we kindly ask that you refrain from making multiple bookings “just in case,” such as reserving multiple huts for the same night or duplicating reservations at nearby facilities.
Please make your reservation only after carefully planning your mountain trip.

Introduction to Mountain Huts

A Historic Mountain Hut with Over 100 Years of Legacy
Established in 1919, Jōnen-goya is a mountain hut with more than a century of history, located at the Jōnen-nokkoshi pass between Mt. Jōnen-dake—one of Japan’s 100 famous peaks—and Mt. Yokotoshi-dake.
Its terrace and dining room offer sweeping views of the iconic Mt. Yari-gatake ridgeline—an unforgettable panorama.
With the heartfelt wish that “everyone who climbs Mt. Jōnen-dake and spends a night under the same roof at Jōnen-goya will descend safely, carrying good memories,” our staff is dedicated to supporting a comfortable and meaningful mountain experience for all.
