Introduction to Mountain Huts

This is a mountain hut in front of the Hirogawara bus stop, which is a transfer point from Nagano prefecture to the shuttle bus heading towards Kitazawa Pass.
Hirogawara has a main entrance to Kita-dake, and is crowded with many climbers during the season. There is an information center nearby, so you can stop by.
There is a special emphasis on meals, and local dishes such as houto and tori motsu are sometimes served, and there are visitors who look forward to it.
