When the Daisekkei snowy gorge route is closed, aim for the mountain trail that heads to Mt. Shirouma-dake & Mt. Hakuba-yari-gatake as an alternative mountaineering route from Sarakura.
Each season sees its share of heavy snow and avalanches, so we take down/scrap the building and rebuild it every season. In addition, the Onsen we are so proud of, boasts a natural Onsen in the highest elevation of Japan.
The open-air bath is set for women only (from 20:00 to 21:00 ), and you can enjoy the hot mountain water with confidence.
