It is a spa hotel located on the trailhead closest to Jizo-dake, which is also used by many mountain climbers.
It is one of the hot springs that spring up along the Itoigawa-Shizuoka tectonic line, and although the temperature is not high, the hot spring is spouting.
It is said that a long time ago the retired emperor Nara came here on the return route of the mountain climbing and laid a small branch of Kaya on a large stone, and it is said that it was given a sensible name.
