Introduction to Mountain Huts

Spring business: May 16th – June 15th, 2025 Open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Summer and fall operations: July 4th – October 15th, 2025 Open daily

It is located at the northern foot of Mt. Ontake, and stands in the 9th station on the Nigorigo trail, located most north around Mt. Ontake-san.

Since the 2014 eruption, although there are times when it is subject to entry restrictions, there are many regular mountain climbers visiting this hut where alpine plants bloom around.

Next to the main building, there is a new building, and there is also a “Unjo no maki stove Cafe Pandaya” in the small building, a fun space which awaits the gathering of mountain lovers.
